Neighborhood sex trafficking ring busted in Fort Worth, Texas

Fort Worth, Texas, 39 year old Tremont Blakemore has been arrested for sex trafficking.  There are eighty-six pages of arrest affidavits that include text messages. anonymous tips, social media accounts and bank records that detail what was going on in the Fort Worth neighborhood home as well as several others in Texas.  15 women were rescued although police believe there are many more that have not been identified.  It is unclear the ages of the women, but they are being referred to as either women, or girls. Tremont gave his women a ‘quota’ of 1,000 a night, none of them were to keep any earnings and were given $10 for food a day one one women told police.  Tremont bragged about his money, his controlled prostitution ring, cars and jewelry on social media, posting pictures, and on Facebook created a page for the women with a “Book Now” option.  He is arrested on many charges with a $750,000 bail.

“We just thought there were roommates living there,” one neighbor told the Star-Telegram. “We didn’t think it was sex trafficking.”
