“Human trafficking is no longer a ‘big city’ issue..”

A man in Wisconsin has been convicted on three counts of human trafficking as a repeat offender on October 22nd, 2018.  Appleton, Wisconsin with a populous of less than 75,000 has witness first hand that this crime doesn’t just happen in large cities and foreign countries, but right in your hometown.

District Attorney Melinda Tempelis stated, “Human trafficking is no longer a ‘big city’ issue; it is happening in Appleton and communities throughout Wisconsin.” The Appleton man is facing up to 152 years in prison for multiple counts of human trafficking.
