After an FBI led task force, four Reno men have been arrested in connection to a child sex trafficking operation. Twenty six year old Kevin Belcher and twenty year old Mason Heath were running a prostitution operation, coercing girls as young as 14 into sex for hire. The two men ran the operation out of an apartment in the Smithridge area. They set up what they called “car dates” with men that answered ads that they placed on various websites. The ads promised sexual encounters with the girls, along with pictures of the young women in their underwear. Belcher and Heath would threaten the young girls with violence if the did not comply with their orders. Twin bothers, Trent and Trevor Burt, age twenty, allegedly knew of the sex trafficking operation and were arrested for statutory sexual seduction. Belcher and Heath now face a list of charges, including sex trafficking and are being held on bond.
